Our Organic Practices
Certified organic is a starting line, not a finish line. Here is what actually happens on every partner farm — beyond the certificate on the wall.
Cow-based bio-inputs
Jeevamrut (fermented cow-dung liquid), bijamrut (seed treatment), and ghana-jeevamrut (dry compost) are made on-farm from our own gowshala. Zero external fertiliser purchased.
Crop rotation & polyculture
Every field rotates legumes with cereals to fix nitrogen naturally. Border rows of marigold and neem act as pest traps. Nothing planted alone, nothing planted twice.
Zero-chemical pest management
Neem-oil sprays, dashaparni ark (10-leaf ferment) and pheromone traps replace pesticides. Yield loss is real (10–15%), but so is the trust of every family that eats our food.
Water discipline
Drip irrigation on 100% of managed acres, mulching to cut evaporation, and swale-based rainwater harvesting. Our per-kg water footprint is 40% below the Gujarat average for organic farms.
