Kharaba Land Model
Our most ambitious model. We take on degraded, saline, or abandoned ‘kharaba’ land, rebuild soil biology with cow manure and cover crops, and share the resulting yield with the owner.
How it works
We survey the land, deploy cow-manure and green-manure crops for 12–18 months, install drip and swales, and slowly bring the parcel back to productive life. You share 40% of yield revenue from year 2.
- Wasteland restoration in 24 months
- Soil carbon rebuilt naturally
- Water table restored via swales
- 40% yield share from year 2
- Owner retains land title
- Weekly agronomy support
Who it suits
Owners of degraded, saline, ravine or long-abandoned parcels that no bank will finance and no farmer will lease. We bring these back to life.
Impact so far
38 acres of kharaba land restored across Kutch and Saurashtra since 2020 — now growing khapli wheat, moong and cold-pressed oil seeds.
